Didn’t.     

Forget. That’s what I’m saying. Didn’t forget the WEB, I never do. It’s indispensable if you ask me, and that’s a nice thing.     

The Weekly Email Blast, home to weekly smitten-ness rants. I’ll get to that later. So the magazine I made is off to print, I’m pumped. To have less work and more time for nothing. Well slightly less work. But that’s the thing, when you have no free time, even time spent doing nothing is blissful.       

Today was my first day in five weeks I didn’t open my laptop. It was great, I read and watched TV and Netflix. Chilled with family, ate and did a whole lot of nothing.

 I was kinda bummed that Russia lost the quarterfinals, but now I’m rooting for Belgium. Or Croatia, I just want an underdog team team to win FIFA this year.       

Speaking of underdogs, that’s me in my entire smitten-ness story. I did do a stupid thing this week but that’s probably my brain exaggerating things like everything else to do with smitten-ness. I’m gonna fight through that. So help me god.

Yep.     

Properly forgot the WEB this weekend. I blame the weekend. Too many important FIFA and hockey matches. Yes, I’m one of the last 12 people who still watch hockey.     

It’s been a great weekend. For football and for me. I got Saturday and today off, hence a rare long weekend. Didn’t have a lot of work, chilled. Watched all 4 FIFA round of 16 games, loved em, still rooting for Russia.       

My brother introduced me to the PUBG game. It’s quite stupid. But also quite fun, so naturally I played it all day yesterday. PUBG is probably the only video game which is more fun on mobile than PC. It’s still a stupid game tho, keep that in mind.       

The weekend off gave me time away from Smitten-ness. Eased the cognitive dissonance a bit. But that’ll all go to hell soon enough, I can vouch for that.

Mammals, matey!       

It’s pouring mammals mate. Cats and dogs to be specific. As long as I’m home, I don’t mind. Let it precipitate. Also didn’t forget the WEB, just running late.       

I write this as I make final edits to my magazine. It’s been a lot of edits, but I’m glad it came out nice. It’s called the Eclectic Express, the annual BMM magazine of my college. I’m the design chief and have spent dozens of hours laboring over illustrator making this thing. It’s almost done now, and I’m happy. Also proud.       

I will send you the pdf next WEB. First week of college was a roller coaster. Now correction from last week. I am no longer in division B. I got moved to A, breaking my 6 year run. Also Smitten-ness is now in a different class. We’re still in the same batch, doing many of the same things, but it’s a little different now. I’m still gonna Jim it out.        

Office reference mate, watch the show. You’ll love it. The Office is my favorite sitcom, I like it more than Seinfeld, and that’s saying something.

He he he       

I’m mature now, I won’t joke about a number. Still funny tho. Today matey, has been a good day. Great day. And not just because I have an adolescent sense of humor.       

I got great news today. I am still in division B, which means I’ve been in the same division for the 7th year straight talk about consistency. I’m also happy because smitten-ness. I thought a transfer would make it easier for me to Jim it out, but there was no transfer, and I’m happier still. Watch the Office to understand.       

I’ve been super busy editing my college magazine for this year. I’m tired of looking a my laptop screen. I watch it all day as apart of my college’s admissions committee and then all night editing on illustrator. Tough gig.        

I haven’t had any time to catch up on Tv, news, and movies. I’ve only kind of kept up with FIFA. I don’t know what team I’m supporting but my heart says Russia. Lol.

My first day of 14th grade begins tomorrow. I’m pumped.

Fellow, matey!     

Are synonyms. I guess. I have spent the week keeping myself very very busy. Working hard. For the fellow man and the fellow friend. Also didn’t delay the WEB that much this week, I’ll notch that as a win.     

I’ve been busy working for my internship. Wrapped that up this week. Was working on my college magazine and prepping for college, which begins this week. I spend 8 hours of my day on illustrator, which is far from ideal. But I do not mind, I met up with a bunch of people this week.     

Now I have to clarify, I began writing this email yesterday. Then I had to go run some errands. Errands that I absolutely loved running.     

And yes, smitten-ness. Has never been this high. Today especially, too much smitten-ness, I have no clue how I’m handling it. Maybe all those Office episodes with Jim and Pam have taught me patience. I’m gonna Jim it for now.

Cello, matey!         

Is an instrument I cannot play. Not at all. I am many things, a cellist is not one of them.         

A procrastinator is one of them. This is the 3rd straight week I’ve forgotten the WEB over the weekend. Now this weekend, I was actually busy doing productive things. My internship, my college magazine and my college fest prep are eating up my time.         

I do not mind tho, I sneak in enough the Office episodes in between work. I spend hours in front of my laptop so it’s nice to take a break and watch things on my iPad.         

I haven’t read a book in a while, waiting for the right time.         

Speaking of the right time, there’s my smitten-ness. It never arrives you know, the right time, it’s all very confusing. Consistent with how I feel about smitten-ness.         

I’m gonna head back to work now.

Jello, matey!       

Is a lovely dessert. I love raspberry jello the most. I like Jell-O shots too but that’s not because of the gelatin.        

I did kinda forget the WEB this week : /  I kept pushing it to the back of my mind. This one goes out on Tuesday, becoming the first web to do so. Anyway now that we have it here, let’s talk about other things.       

I’ve been busy with my internship. It’s not really an internship tho, it’s proper work; content production. I’m working for an NGO called STEM Learning. They’re pretty cool, you should check out website.       

It’s work from home, so breaks are interspersed with work. I love what I’m doing tho. It’s science-y and a perfect fit for me.       

Speaking of a perfect fit for me, there’s Ms Smitten-ness. She’s always there somehow. Someplace in my head and even in the WEB. It’s irrational. I figured my brain is always rational, if it wants to be irrational about this, so be it.

Bellow, matey!         

I bellow hello to you. I’m stooping pretty low in my greetings and puns directory. I don’t have one tho, just clarifying. That would be incredibly sad.

I didn’t forget this WEB, I’ve been lazy and busy. Not a good combination. But you know the one thing that combines lazy and busy? Vacation. Travelling is time for leisure yet sometimes you’re so busy traveling you don’t have time for leisure.       

I’m not drunk, also clarifying. Haven’t been for while. I’m old and mature now. I would’ve added boring but I’ve kinda always been boring so let’s gloss over that.       

Boring is a relative term, I’m boring sometimes but that’s situational. See I wouldn’t care about such a thing except when you’re smitten you care about the stupidest things.         

It’s not going away. I have, to multiple places, but smitten-ness is constant. Traveling definitely not a remedy to being smitten. I have no complaints but also no recourse.         

That got pretty serious, damn.

Yellow, matey!       

Is an overrated Coldplay song. I do not mince words. Coldplay is overrated. So are internships. You know what isn’t overrated? Emailing.       

I’ve made several excuses to not intern somewhere. Anywhere. Because quite simply, I hate internships. It’s the most elaborate con. No thanks. Get gullible people to work for you for free, you’re not getting me.       

Moving on from my rant, I’m kinda excited with all the work I begin with this week. I’m editing my college magazine, and later commence work for my college fest. Design work. Even though there’s little design involved.

Raazi is a beautiful movie. Go watch. Smitten-ness was under control for a bit, will spiral outta control this week.

2020 Sam here. WEB #63 appears to have vanished off of the face of this planet somehow. I can’t seem to find it on my end as well as at the original recipients. I smell a conspiracy.
