Sweet Sixty!
Three scores’ worth of emails. Five dozens’ worth of blasts. So many ‘cringeworthy’ ways to start an email. God I hate that word.
I finally watched Captain America: Civil War last night. And boy do I have strong I have strong opinions about it. The movie itself was fine, except the end, which was very sad. It was tragic that Iron Man didn’t kill stupid Captain America. And his sucky friend Bucky. The movie made me repent missing AntMan. I’m just bitter because I didn’t see Tony Stark ripping Steve Rogers and James Barnes in half. And the new Spider Man costume is silly, just like every Pepper Potts reference in the movie. The Marvel Cinematic Universe desperately needs a good solid foe, a worthy antagonist to the new expanded Avengers. They decommissioned Loki, and don’t want Thanos around for another year, so all they got now is angry Sokovian heels. This is all just like professional wrestling.
Exactly like professional wrestling. Normal people with gimmicks when at work, face (heroes) and heel(villains) characters, almost monthly pay per views that build up to a huge WrestleMania once every year or so in which you need to call in favours from all your superstars. Marvel and WWE should merge together. They’re practically the same entities. He he he. Never mind that. Both WWE and Marvel work with kayfabe. Make-believe. It’s all feuds and rivalries that aren’t true, but aren’t bad either. I might be onto something huge here. Ah kayfabe. Something I’ve stood by almost my entire life. And made my life into.
