Holidays are here!*
*Conditions apply.
DISCLAIMER: This email is a product of the injury ( boo-boo) I sustained to my head while setting up my Blu Ray / Home Theatre system, which, FYI takes like four hours. Not the technical part, but tactfully clumping and or concealing wires away from human eyes. Sound technicians suck at that.
Upgrading electronics around my house is the first thing on my to do list for the holidays. See, people don’t really care about electronics they can’t carry around in most cases. I do. I changed all lights in my house to LEDs, because they’re very pretty. I changed the ceiling fans because newer ones aren’t noisy, perfectly coupling together with respective ACs for relief from the horrible weather we’re used to having in Bombay. And I got a foosball table. The last one isn’t electronic, but is hours of fun.
Reading is the second thing on my to do list for this summer. Especially Isaac Asimov. The guy who coined the term robotics, and like me believed robots are the future in almost every field imaginable. I’ve heard of him so many times and seen a bunch of movies based on his books but now, I’ll actually read his works. As e-books, not dead tree books. Trust me, buying e-books is hard. It feels like you didn’t accomplish anything at all. It’s way to easy, but is a natural progression; from tales of elders to manuscripts written by monks to printed books to ever changing dots on a screen.
I don’t actually have a to do list though. I just subconsciously know I got stuff to do. It is easier that way.
Happy Earth Day!
‘Tis, mate was the Weekly Email Blast, email 57. Happy holidays !!!
